Description
This stunner boasts wispy sprays of large, spidery, soft lavender-pink flowers with golden centers. The long, quilled petals make them look like fireworks. I adore this variety, and it’s one of my long-standing favorites.
Harvesting/Vase Life
Harvest individual stems when the flowers are one-half to two-thirds open. For spray varieties, harvest when one-quarter of the flowers on a stem have opened. Chrysanthemums are notorious for making their water murky. To combat this and extend their vase life, add a few drops of bleach to the water. Expect a vase life of more than 2 weeks with floral preservative.
