Description

The long, airy panicles of this variety have small, lavender-purple single florets. The silvery-gray petal tips are incurved and cupped, giving flowers a picotee effect. The pretty, unusually colored blooms have a soft scent.

Harvesting/Vase Life

Harvest when one-half to three-quarters of the flowers on the bloom cluster are open and immediately remove most or all of the leaves. Using heavy clippers, recut the stem ends, slice vertically up the stem 2 to 3 inches (5 to 8 cm), and twist backward. Plunge the cut stems immediately into cool water. You can also use Quick Dip and then place stems into water with hydrator. Expect a vase life of 5 to 6 days.
