Description

The buttercream buds of this variety open to single, 4-petaled flowers in a creamy ivory. The wildflower-like blooms have a tiny buttercream stripe down the center of each petal and glowing gold centers. Flowers are sweetly scented.

Harvesting/Vase Life

Harvest when one-half to three-quarters of the flowers on the bloom cluster are open and immediately remove most or all of the leaves. Using heavy clippers, recut the stem ends, slice vertically up the stem 2 to 3 inches (5 to 8 cm), and twist backward. Plunge the cut stems immediately into cool water. You can also use Quick Dip and then place stems into water with hydrator. Expect a vase life of 5 to 6 days.
