A close up of Chrysanthemum Seaton’s J’Adore

Chrysanthemum ‘Seaton's J'Adore’

Description

Huge, productive plants have long, thick stems topped with sprays of medium-size, blush-champagne blooms. Flowers lighten with age. This is a perfect variety for wedding work.

Harvesting/Vase Life

Harvest individual stems when the flowers are one-half to two-thirds open. For spray varieties, harvest when one-quarter of the flowers on a stem have opened. Chrysanthemums are notorious for making their water murky. To combat this and extend their vase life, add a few drops of bleach to the water. Expect a vase life of more than 2 weeks with floral preservative.
