A close up of Chrysanthemum Vienna Waltz

Chrysanthemum ‘Vienna Waltz’

Description

This variety is tall and extremely floriferous. Flat, palm-sized flowers are perfectly formed. Tubular petals tightly curl at the tips, giving it a very exaggerated shape. One of the most beautiful spider types we’ve ever grown.

Harvesting/Vase Life

Harvest individual stems when the flowers are one-half to two-thirds open. For spray varieties, harvest when one-quarter of the flowers on a stem have opened. Chrysanthemums are notorious for making their water murky. To combat this and extend their vase life, add a few drops of bleach to the water. Expect a vase life of more than 2 weeks with floral preservative.
