A bunch of Chrysanthemum ‘Annie Girl’.

Chrysanthemum ‘Annie Girl’

Description

An absolute stunner! Big, bushy plants produce an abundance of coral-pink flowers that have a glowing, almost iridescent wash. They are great for arranging, mixed bouquets, and straight bunches. This is one of my all-time favorites.

Harvesting/Vase Life

Harvest individual stems when the flowers are one-half to two-thirds open. For spray varieties, harvest when one-quarter of the flowers on a stem have opened. Chrysanthemums are notorious for making their water murky. To combat this and extend their vase life, add a few drops of bleach to the water. Expect a vase life of more than 2 weeks with floral preservative.
