Close up of Chrysanthemum Apricot Alexis

Chrysanthemum ‘Apricot Alexis’

Description

Peachy-buff blooms have a glittery quality and rank as one of the most beautiful varieties we’ve ever grown. These plants are on the shorter side and have thick, stocky growth.

Harvesting/Vase Life

Harvest individual stems when the flowers are one-half to two-thirds open. For spray varieties, harvest when one-quarter of the flowers on a stem have opened. Chrysanthemums are notorious for making their water murky. To combat this and extend their vase life, add a few drops of bleach to the water. Expect a vase life of more than 2 weeks with floral preservative.
