A bunch of Chrysanthemum ‘Divine Music’.

Chrysanthemum ‘Divine Music’

Description

The blooms on these medium-tall plants have extremely long, needle-like petals in a warm coral with golden-orange tips. The very dramatic-looking flowers are borne in large sprays and are fantastic for arranging with. This is one of the best spider types I’ve grown.

Harvesting/Vase Life

Harvest individual stems when the flowers are one-half to two-thirds open. For spray varieties, harvest when one-quarter of the flowers on a stem have opened. Chrysanthemums are notorious for making their water murky. To combat this and extend their vase life, add a few drops of bleach to the water. Expect a vase life of more than 2 weeks with floral preservative.
