Description
Towering plants are topped with giant, upward-facing, lilac-pink blooms. Despite its height, this variety stays upright without too much support. A great candidate for cut flower growing.
Harvesting/Vase Life
Harvest individual stems when the flowers are one-half to two-thirds open. For spray varieties, harvest when one-quarter of the flowers on a stem have opened. Chrysanthemums are notorious for making their water murky. To combat this and extend their vase life, add a few drops of bleach to the water. Expect a vase life of more than 2 weeks with floral preservative.
