I just love this darling! Flowers have a single ring of lavender petals encircling a tufted, domed, creamy center. They have a very sweet quality and are the perfect addition to arrangements. These medium-size plants are a new favorite.
Harvesting/Vase Life
Harvest individual stems when the flowers are one-half to two-thirds open. For spray varieties, harvest when one-quarter of the flowers on a stem have opened. Chrysanthemums are notorious for making their water murky. To combat this and extend their vase life, add a few drops of bleach to the water. Expect a vase life of more than 2 weeks with floral preservative.
