Description
This traditional-looking chrysanthemum is one of the last to bloom. Plants are medium-tall and produce large, greenish-yellow flowers with big, tubular, incurved petals.
Harvesting/Vase Life
Harvest individual stems when the flowers are one-half to two-thirds open. For spray varieties, harvest when one-quarter of the flowers on a stem have opened. Chrysanthemums are notorious for making their water murky. To combat this and extend their vase life, add a few drops of bleach to the water. Expect a vase life of more than 2 weeks with floral preservative.
