A bunch of Chrysanthemum ‘Polar Anderton’.

Chrysanthemum ‘Polar Anderton’

Description

This variety is the prettiest novelty! The soft blush, pincushion-like flowers have a ring of short, pale pink outer petals and a dense, domed center washed with gold. Plants are medium in size. They are great for arranging with and would be ideal for wedding work.

Harvesting/Vase Life

Harvest individual stems when the flowers are one-half to two-thirds open. For spray varieties, harvest when one-quarter of the flowers on a stem have opened. Chrysanthemums are notorious for making their water murky. To combat this and extend their vase life, add a few drops of bleach to the water. Expect a vase life of more than 2 weeks with floral preservative.
