Over time, the dark green rind of this medium-size, deeply lobed pumpkin transforms into the most incredible warm chocolate-brown. Wonderful for eating and prized by chefs for baking, the flesh inside is a deep orange. One of our favorites for long-lasting decorations as well.

Sow seed indoors 3 weeks before last frost. Plant 2 seeds per 4-in pot and transplant them outside after all danger of frost has passed. Seeds can also be direct-sown into the garden after all danger of frost has passed.
