The single petals of these deep eggplant-purple blooms are outlined in white, giving the flowers a striped effect. Flower heads are dense and full. This lightly scented variety is very unusual. People tend to either love it or hate it.

Harvesting/Vase Life
Harvest when one-half to three-quarters of the flowers on the bloom cluster are open and immediately remove most or all of the leaves. Using heavy clippers, recut the stem ends, slice vertically up the stem 2 to 3 inches (5 to 8 cm), and twist backward. Plunge the cut stems immediately into cool water. You can also use Quick Dip and then place stems into water with hydrator. Expect a vase life of 5 to 6 days.
