Description
Delicate lavender buds scattered loosely up the stems of this variety open to reveal 4-petaled, star-like blooms. The petal base is lavender and the inside of each petal looks as if it was painted in blue, giving the flowers an unusual lavender-iridescent blue hue. Flowers have an airy quality and a medium scent.

Harvesting/Vase Life
Harvest when one-half to three-quarters of the flowers on the bloom cluster are open and immediately remove most or all of the leaves. Using heavy clippers, recut the stem ends, slice vertically up the stem 2 to 3 inches (5 to 8 cm), and twist backward. Plunge the cut stems immediately into cool water. You can also use Quick Dip and then place stems into water with hydrator. Expect a vase life of 5 to 6 days.
