Description
Petite flowers and foliage along with a compact, mounding growth habit make this look like a miniature nasturtium. Be patient, as stems lengthen over time and eventually grow long enough for arranging. Flowers are a smoky-raspberry tone with an iridescent quality. Blooms emerge with richly saturated coloring and lighten to cream with purple veins. The unique coloring is like none other and this variety would make a terrific addition to pots and the patio.

Start seed indoors in pots 4 to 6 weeks before last frost; transplant out after all danger of frost has passed. Nasturtiums are very sensitive to cold; wait until the weather has warmed to transplant out. Provide a strong trellis or support for vines to climb.

Harvest flowers just as they are opening. If using entire vines, harvest when the foliage becomes leathery or firm to the touch. Expect a vase life of 7 to 10 days.
